Common Questions
Pricing & Estimates
Pricing varies depending on the brand (e.g., TCE vs. Cosentino), slab choice, and layout complexity. We quote by the project to ensure accuracy. Request a free estimate to get an exact price for your space.
Our quotes are comprehensive. They include digital/manual templating, the stone slab, custom fabrication in our East St. Paul shop, standard edge profiling, and professional installation. There are no hidden fees.

Yes! We often have "remnant" pieces left over from larger slabs that are perfect for small vanity tops, fireplace hearths, or laundry rooms. These are available at a reduced cost compared to buying a full slab.
Fabrication & Installation
Once we have your final template, fabrication typically takes 7-10 business days. The actual installation in your home is fast—usually completed in just 2 to 4 hours.
Yes, we offer professional removal and disposal of existing laminate or stone countertops. Please mention this when requesting your quote so we can include it.
Yes. A homeowner or authorized representative (18+) must be on-site to grant access and to sign off on the final installation to ensure you are 100% satisfied.
We cut, polish, and undermount your sink to the quartz. However, we do not perform plumbing. You will need a licensed plumber to connect the drains and faucets *after* the countertops are installed (usually 24 hours later to let the adhesive cure).
We design layouts to minimize seams. When a seam is unavoidable due to slab size, we use colour-matched epoxy to make it as tight and invisible as possible (often less than 1mm wide).

Care & Materials
Quartz is engineered to be incredibly durable. It is highly resistant to staining and scratching, making it far superior to marble or laminate for active kitchens.
No. Unlike granite, which requires yearly sealing, quartz is non-porous. It never needs to be sealed, which makes it a low-maintenance and hygienic choice.
Quartz is heat-resistant, but not heat-proof. Sudden thermal shock from a boiling pot can damage the resin. We always recommend using a trivet or hot pad to protect your investment.
Absolutely. We work with top suppliers like TCE Stone and Cosentino. We can guide you through their catalogs to find the perfect shade and vein pattern for your home.
Yes. Stone countertops are one of the highest ROI upgrades you can make. They are often a "must-have" for buyers in the Winnipeg market.
